News archive - May 2006Morris I Stein (1921-2006)It is with great sadness that we report the death of our good friend and colleague, Moe Stein. Moe was a warm and charismatic person who had a tremendous grasp of creativity research over most of the 20th Century up to the present day. We valued his friendship and support and his incisive mind. Moe stands out as someone who was always willing to help genuine students of creativity, but who was highly critical of sloppy research and any claims about the nature of creativity which were inadequately supported by evidence. Most of all he wanted the body of knowledge about creativity and its development to comprise a firm foundation on which to build. His contribution to that foundation has been immense. |

Moe was external advisor to The Creativity Centre and a founding Director/Trustee of The Creativity Centre Educational Trust. He then succeeded Paul Torrance as the Centre's Honorary Member. We miss him loads! |
